Tilda (EDITED!!) Shop open for business!

Hi there, and for all you Tilda fans out there, have you seen Tone Finnangar's newly released book...no...well here's a sneaky preview to whet your appetite and have you rushing to log onto Amazon. I pre-ordered and received it a few days ago. If you are a fan then you won't be disappointed, every page is beautiful, every photo stunning and the designs....well here are a few snaps to be going on with.

Who wouldn't want to sit at that desk, designing and crafting?

Beautiful and instantly recognisable Tilda Angels....

Beautiful cupcakes...........

Adorable creatures.................

A bag just waiting to be made from fabulous materials.......

Sandcastle anyone?.................

A truly beautiful book.

************************************

Now then, do you want to see what I have been up to over the last couple of days? Go on.........you know you want to.....drum roll please........

They still need cushion pads and backing, but I am so in love with these little jewelled grannies, there isn't a colour combination that I don't like. I just cannot stop looking at them!

Edited --I just wanted to tell you that I have opened my shop for business, so if you have a moment, then please stop by. There is a link on the side bar. Thanks Dev x

How gorgeous the colours are and they look so bright and cheerful. Well done. I must get my crochet hooks out and some yarn and make some myself! Thanks for dropping by my blog and for inspiring me with your handiwork.

Really wonderful grannies Dev and the book looks like fun well beyond my sewing skills.

The grannies look good and that book looks amazing as well. What an amazing crafting space. I'm beginning to feel the itch to sew some; I just don't want to have any crochet WIPs first, so I must finish up soon so I can pull out the machine. :-)

I love the cheerful colours you chose. These grannies are meant to be beautiful cushions.

Love your cushions... a long time fan of Tilda as I receive the Panduro Craft catalogue and they feature all her stuff in there. Lovely, pretty, beautiful, but not really for me and I am not a good enough seamstress to even attempt the things... though I love picture books like this!

What a gorgeous post! That book is really good, I have just bought it. I love the colours that you have chosen for the granny squares. I have just returned from holiday anfd during that time, I managed to do quite a few granny squares, so satisfying!
