Can you see the glint in his eyes, he is watching and waiting and ready to pounce. He loves the garden, and eating the flowers and the leaves and the shrubs and the bulbs, not to mention the wheelbarrow and spade, the broom, the fence posts, oh and the washing on the line!
He is the naughtiest dog in the whole wide world and we love him to bits already. He in no way replaces Hamish, how could he? Hamish was part of our family for nearly 15 years, but he does fill that huge gap that was left in our lives.
The house is a mess, the garden has had to be fenced off in parts to protect delicate new plants, we are absolutely exhausted as he thinks that 5 am is playtime and we have spent an absolute fortune in Petsmart!
Oh dear, bad puppy!!
He is just so darn cute and wiggly and cuddly and bitey and chewy and mischevious but he has enriched our lives and made us happy again.

He's just adorable with such a cute face, he's looks like he's going to be a real character. So sorry to hear about poor Hamish.

nice to meet Hector!
Hello Hector... you little mischief maker! lol

He's adorable - and from a non doggie person that is praise indeed! He will never replace Hamish but he will certainly fill a huge hole and you will be able to remark on the similarities and differences between them without so much sadness. I think he will be a very lucky fellow!

Hi Hector!
He's so cute!
Just look at that little bundle of energy, I just want to pick him up and cuddle him. We have a Hector as well, ( such a good name ), he is a tad bigger though, Rhodesian Ridgeback, just over two years old now.
His face is just so adorable - I can see whhy it would be hard to get cross at his puppy antics!! Welcome Hector! x
Hi cutie! What an adorable puppy.
Hector is gorgeous! i just showed him to Fee (she did open an eye)I am still waiting for her to grow out of finding the remote controls, cables, toilet rolls, my felt, my hats...etc :)
Hope you are having lots of fun with him xxx
He looks such a scamp (I love the name too)!
I've only just read of your loss of Hamish - I'm so sorry he was truely beautiful. I've never owned a dog (but long for one) and Hamish really was exactly the sort of dog I would wish for.

Hi Hector! It's so great to meet you. How cute are you?! Try not to use up all your goodwill tickets in the first few weeks. The lovely people who have welcomed you into their home are the ones who feed you, so you might want to just slobber on the slippers rather than eat them. xxx
Dev, I left you an award on my blog!
Just found your blog. So sorry to read about your Hamish passing, he was a lovely looking hound. So happy for you that you have found Hector.
